Integrated Product Policy (IPP)
 
Being aware of the importance of creating and implementing a competitive business model, aimed to the achievement of an excellent quality; considering preservation and respect of the environment, as well as each human being’s individual safety and dignity, as strategic factors, CESAB Carrelli Elevatori SpA (CESAB) agreed and defined the present "Integrated Product Policy”, directly coming from the Mission of the Group:

To create trust and confidence with customers by delivering outstanding materials, handling products and services which add real value to their business.

CESAB believes that workers are an important pillar for the pursuit of the Mission and that only with their support and commitment we can achieve excellent goals.
The following principles are an integral part of the Company Policy, which Management constantly tries to extend to all its employees.

CESAB trusts in "Genchi Genbutsu”. It means "going to the source”, to the actual place (for example the shop floor of the production facilities) and look with our own eyes the problems happened, in order to take immediate countermeasures, correct decisions and to achieve company goals.

COMPLIANCE AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

CESAB and all employees shall comply with the requirements imposed by the UNI EN ISO 9001, UNI EN ISO 14001, BS OHSAS 18001 (in the latest editions applied) respectively regarding the quality, the environment, health and safety of workers and with respect of the Ethic Code drawn up in accordance with the provisions of the decree 231/01 (as amended) with regard to Social Responsibility.
Therefore, CESAB aims to ensure full compliance with current legislation and European, national and regional authorities’ regulations with regard to activities and products delivered, in ethics, environmental protection, health and safety of workers.

ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION

CESAB believes that economic growth and preservation of the natural environment are compatible. The Company strives to offer products, services and added-value solutions that are clean, safe and of high quality. In the production and distribution stages, CESAB shall endeavour to reduce the use of energy and harmful chemical substances, and to reduce waste and emissions, thereby helping to diminish the adverse effects on the environment.

RESPECT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS

We respect human rights and do not discriminate on grounds of race, gender, ethnicity, age, religious or sexual orientation, physical disability, or marital or parental status. Workplace harassment or intimidation will not be tolerated. CESAB is also committed to adhere to the Human Rights conventions regarding the abolition of child labour, the elimination of forced and compulsory labour as well as the conventions on elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation and the freedom of association and collective bargaining.

EDUCATION, INFORMATION, TRAINING AND AWARENESS

The training and awareness of employees is an overriding principle for our company that aims to provide the necessary training and education so as to enable their workers to work safely, in compliance with environmental regulations and in accordance with the specifications techniques to ensure the best quality product possible.
The company also aims to increase the experience, preparation and a sense of personal responsibility, including environmental awareness and prevention to safety, by upgrading the skills and involvement.

COOPERATION WITH THIRD PARTIES INTERESTED

CESAB Carrelli Elevatori SpA collaborates closely with its suppliers and contractors to identify opportunities to improve their quality performance, environmental and security in order to support the growth and continuous improvement.

EFFICIENCY AND COMMITMENT TO REDUCE POLLUTION

CESAB is also aware that an "efficient" management is needed to "fight” all types of waste and to reduce pollution. For this reason it always asks to its staff to take over the most appropriate behaviours to reduce consumption of energy, raw materials and resources in general, by following the instructions suitably provided and encouraging all employees to propose ideas or suggestions for improvement.

WORKING OBJECTIVES

The company policy can be effectively implemented only if the Management itself provides its full commitment by making regularly reviews on implementing systems and by checking their effectiveness.
This is accomplished through a constant monitoring and analysis of data related on trends in satisfaction of the stakeholders, of the system and of the processes.
The Management set out the targets that the company will pursue to implement this document and is committed to ensure the necessary resources.
